2 Ways to Fix "BOOTMGR Is Missing" Problem

It's really annoying encountering "BOOTMGR is missing". You can't use your computer normally till it's fixed. But don't be worried. If this has nothing to do with your hardware, there are 2 solutions for you to fix "BOOTMGR is missing" issue in Windows 7, Vista, XP, etc.

Way1. Fix BOOTMGR missing with Windows DVD

It will be an easy task if you have a Windows DVD at hand.
• Insert Windows DVD to your computer DVD player and restart it;
• Set the language, Time and Keyboard on the Interface;
• Click "Repair your computer";
• Windows will then try to find the installation directory for Windows 7, Vista, or XP. If you have more than one on your computer, choose the one you want to repair;
• Click "Startup Repair";
• You'll see the message that "Startup Repair is checking your system for problems…";
• When it's done, it will prompt you to restart your computer.

Remove the DVD and reboot your computer, you'll find that everything works well.

Way2. Fix BOOTMGR missing with a bootable CD

Don't worry, even you don't have a Windows DVD disk. There is still a way for you. You can make yourself a bootable CD or USB, which works the same as Windows DVD but costs you less. Step 1. Create a bootable USB drive /CD with Liveboot
