Forms:PDF Form Basic

PDF form is like paper form document, which is with blanks or options for people to fill or choose. Ordinary PDF forms are common use in PDFs, it is a convenient way of distributing forms, which can be filled on computer, to be printed out to fill by hand, or email/transfer to others.

Wondershare PDF Editor supports PDF forms, by using Wondershare PDF Element, you may create a PDF with forms or create from a PDF form template. It is also easy to edit a PDF form document by Wondershare PDF Element

You can open a PDF from within the Wondershare Software or from desktop.

Open a PDF in the software.

1. Start Wondershare PDF Element.

2. Click Open Recent Files or Open button, or File>Open>Browse,

3. In the Open dialog box, select one or more filenames and click open. PDF documents usually have the extension .pdf.

Open a PDF from desktop.

1. Double click the PDF file icon

2. Right-click and choose Open with command then select Wondershare PDF Element.

It will appear a yellow banner notice: This document contains interactive form fields. You may highlight all the fields or click to close this notice.

To fill a PDF form, change to Hand mode by click Hand button. When you place the cursor over the form fields, the cursor will change to one of the following:

• Pointing finger. This will help to select Check Box, Radio Button, or a Button.
• Arrow. This will help to choose option from list fields like Combo Box, List Box.
• I-beam icon. This will help when you type text into a text filed.



Another way to fill PDF form is to import form data from a FDF file. Click Forms>Import, and select the FDF form data file in the on-screen window to load the PDF form data.

If you want to un-do the filling form, do either the following operation:

Click Forms>Clear button to clear all the filled fields data at a time.

Click Undo button on the quick toolbar to un-do form filling one step.

Export form data to a file:

1. Open a PDF form and fill it in.

2. Click Forms>Export to export.

3. In the pop up window, choose the default FDF format to save as.

Print PDF forms:

1. Open a PDF form and fill it in.

2. Click File>Print to activate the Printer window.

3. Follow up the on-screen instructions to print the PDF forms.
